Building Bridges: IBM Quantum’s Community programs for cross-disciplinary engagement
Vishal Sharathchandra Bajpe

Effective knowledge transfer in quantum computing depends on communication infrastructures that are both technically accurate and accessible to experts outside the field. This talk reports on a set of complementary, publicly available channels maintained by IBM: a learning platform, annual coding challenges, a two-week summer school, a global advocate network, domain-specific working groups, and continuously updated blogs, Youtube videos, discussion forums, and events to help researchers, engineers, professionals, and other practitioners engage with quantum computing at an appropriate depth. This session walks through why each format exists, how live events and on-demand materials complement one another, and the small feedback loops that keep the content relevant. The goal is to present transferable principles for sustaining long-term, cross-disciplinary dialogue around emerging developments for the quantum community.
