World Quantum Day: Quantum Outreach at the Global Scale

The World Quantum Day, launched in 2022, is celebrated yearly on, and around, 14 April, in all continents. It is a unique example of public engagement on quantum science and quantum technologies at a global scale, developed in a bottom-up and inclusive manner, with a very significant participation also from the Global South. In this talk, I will discuss the goals of the World Quantum Day, the lessons learned so far, and its future directions and projects, including in the context of the International Year of Quantum, during which every day is a quantum day.
